This would actually be the second Scout that he is negotiating the purchase of....

Here is pics of the first one that was picked up on his 15 day leave:

Me and Nick actually working on replacing the rebar gas pedal with a real one.  My friend Jon, well he is SPECIAL.  haha

ya jon is special. I am actually trying to talk ann into buying it, so well see how that goes. I will be insuring my Scout soon so you can take it out if you want to soon, Andy. I think Jon is goind to take it up to Halls also. If i was home the scout hes selling would already be mine. Its a deal people.. the prices on these things have been going up for the last 2 years or so. A few parts and a paint job and you've got a nice investment.

the seats are awesome!smile

also, the 304 is an AMC engine, at least the block and heads.  It may have a different cam or something for IH specs.  Lots of us AMC guys find 401s in old school buses and travelalls (IH's chevrolet suburban of sorts).

They were actually going to take that beast down to Southern Indiana from Ft. Wayne today but could not find the hardware in the garage to put the top on.  It has been raining for 2 days straight here.  I told them to man up and where rain jackets hahaha
