Turn signal switch replacment

Anyone replaced their turn signal switch?  I went to the FSM and it sounds like a simple job, but you know how THAT goes sometimes.evileye  Mine is starting to get "sticky" when using the right turn signal.  Sometimes I have to push down on it to make it quit flashing.  It's like it just dosen't quite return to the off position.

Just wondering if there is anything I should look out for, other than to be sure to disconnect the battery to discharge the airbag capacitor.

This might not be the solution to your problem, but it might.   Have you thought about putting some rubbing alcohol on where ever it is sticking.  I don't know if you meant "sticking" or "sticking".  But if it is sticky this usually solves the problem.  It will evaporate before it will cause any issues with the electrical stuff.

 What?  I am confused!   confuse.gif

But, yes, aci4369 is right.  Rubbing alcohol is a good "de-sticker" on gummy surfaces.  I think it would be worth a shot if it is THAT kind of sticking.  biggrin.gif
