When we were there in July they didn't inspect the vehicles. We signed the waiver, paid, got a wrist band and went in. All they checked was to make sure you didn't have alcohol in the coolers.
do they have any rules for floorboards, or leaks or any of that type of thing? if anyone can guarantee my jeep would be allowed i might be able to scrap some $ together and make it.
i guarantee you 100% that would be fine. you should see some of the trucks that are there.

I will have my truck ready for Badlands in time, but don't know if it'll be ready to handle 400 miles of freeway to get there. Might have to bite the bullet and trailer it. The problem I'm having will prevent flat towing too.
I have some questions about the campground. I thought that in past it was included in you entree fee for the day that you could camp for free that night. Is this correct? I was on the site and could only find where you have to pay $7 for primitive, not that it is a huge deal just wondering. Also does anyone know how much the Hotel in town is? Not sure how excited the wife is going to be to camp in the cold. I love camping in the winter, know for a fact she has never been camping except in the summer though!!

I miss the days that they made toys that could kill a kid.
The campground is not owned by the Badlands. So you have to pay to camp seperatly. What we've done in the past is someone typically gets a spot and than they are allowed to have some many "guests" on their spot. I think it's only $3 a guest than instead of the $7/person to have your own spot.
As far as the hotel goes their is the "Attica Inn", I don't think they have a website so you need to call them (765-762-3699). Another hotel just opened up on the other side of Attica recently. I can't remember the name of it, maybe Rebecca or Wade will as we talked about it at the last event.
