I must part with my beastly 'n' sweet XJ which needs some minor things yet,. it has a .40 over Crane cammed 4.0L with a Helix Throttle body spacer and ARB snorkel, a header and a 40 series or clone muffler, I added an MSD Blaster 2 Coil right after I got it also. The interior was gutted, the drivers seat needs replaced(wobbly n loose), I have the rear seat and some trim pieces for it, there is some rust in the front floors that would need minor repairing( it is just beyond pinhole stage and becoming small holes but some steel or even a POR floor repair kit would fix it, that was going to be my solution). Te previous owner started putting in Aluminum Diamond plate on the rear doors and sides of the cargo area and a piece is included for the rear floor too. As the pics show it has bedliner coating applyed to the roof and hood, as well as about half way up the sides too. it has a 6" lift, a Currie sportsman kit I was told, ACOS's up front, Bilstien 5150's all around, the rears come thru the floor and attach to shock hoops!!! The ARB Bull Bar bumper was parted out already (I should have a stock bumper to go on it soon), and the pictured roof rack will only go with the truck if someone pays an additional $500 for it, as it is a home built one-off item I want to put on my current '94 DD XJ at some point. It has a non-disco D30 up front and a Wago offset(ack! stupid mistake the prior owner/builder made) D44 with welded side gears in back and the rear brakes weren't setup right and are currently inoperative,(I am guessing they went and ordered parts for XJ rears not a Wago's). I am including a center diffed Scout D44 that can be built to replace it(I think it has 3.73 gears and LS in it), I would suggest an SYE kit as it doesn't have one, they just angled the input up to relieve some of the driveline angle. I haven't confirmed it but the last owner recalled it having 4.10 gearing in the axles. It mainly just needs a bit of TLC, attention I can't afford now and it can remain either a semi streetable trail ride like it is or it can be tamed down for the street/dd role(ditch the welded rear side gears and wrong axle setup) and replace with the locker of your choice in the scout rear or find an XJ D44 to setup. FYI, it currently has no Swaybar but handles nicely unless you really push it in a corner. Also it has the NP 242 xfer case with Full/part time 4WD ranges.
Also I have a flex fan, and misc. parts to go with it, as well as an open 3.92 and up carrier for D44, and a front D30 reverse cut 4.56 gear set from Superior Gear I might be convinced to part with too. and you might talk me into selling my incomplete Air setup with dual compressors(VIair??? I got them from a Siege engineering closeout sale on Ebay) and an 8Gal. air tank from a Campbell-Hausefeld home air compressor, just needs plumbed in and wired up to a 4x4. Oh and how did I forget the Load Boss/Alterstart 160 AMP alternator I put in it, yeah I'm too lazy to wrench it out so it stays with the truck, your gain!!! And a good junkyard stock alternator is included too(it's what I upgraded from)
I 'd like to... but unemployment won't fix the main issues keepin me from drivin' n keepin it. A loose seat n wonky bracket, and I might just be able to fix the rear brakes if it's only a set of $10-15 dollar wheel cylinders like I suspect but Gas would be the joy killer for me, unless work materializes soon.
The dd is a full on stocker, now if I had a locker on even one axle... and the aggressive Primewell PA100's (an AT type tire from China BTW) I put on my GF's Blazer last winter, the Dayton AT or HT tires on it are fine for dd use but I only wheel with trustworthy tires, IE I like MT's especially Yoko Geolandar MT's I had a set of 31's on my '87 Dodge 1/2t PU(with the straight six and a 4 spd, ultimate stock dbl lo-lo grunt) and it was like I added lockers going from 235/75/15 AT's which were undersized anyways, 31x10.50x15 was the OE tire size inside the doorjam.
very good looking truck. while i was taking the front bumper off of it, i noticed that it's very clean, looks capable and the rear axle swap won't take very much effort.
Aaron, give me a call this weekend and I'll try and get you a front bumper...maybe we cant alk about some other parts you have?
Yeah tomorrow I'll post some pics in the off-road pics section of this '92 and a few of the '94 DD in member rides. I got some nice poses of the "92 getting its flex on with those 35"s stuffed into the wheel wells and of it stalled on a sidehill(lesson learned : don't get extreme on a teacups worth of gas) and being recovered by a local friends RR Disco (which is almost a near twin of it given the tall body and having a light/safari bar making it just as tall despite less lift)
