alright, so i'm not sure this is 100% the problem, but it is something i noticed and think somethings plenty worn out... anyways
i was driving, and started noticing a really bad driveline vibe, push in the clutch and it's still there... right around 45mph with the clutch in it's a verry deep bassy rumble almost..
so i got home, lifted the rear, and spun the wheels to see if i could hear or see anything, and i guess the best way to describe it is one wheel spins, and the other one pretty much doesnt. i know on an open diff the wheels should spin opposite of themselves with the rear lifted and they still do that, but it's like something inside is slipping and the other wheel takes forever to start spinning the opposite direction... there's a pretty bad grinding noise also while the wheels are trying to get up to speed with each other as well (it goes away when they're finally spinning right around the same speed)
so my questions are, what do you think is wrong? could this cause a pretty sizeable vibration, if not, could the problem be my motor mounts? (they're pretty much nonexistant)

You said this is a game... What is the prize for finding the right answer?
I, too, have the Chrylser 8.25.
I have/had a similar grinding noise when stopping then starting again (not brakes, though they need changed too- definitely from my axle). Then, at the Badlands, all HECK broke loose and it developed this TERRIBLE clunk during turns. It ended up being a bad bearing (I think- ask Lead_Not_Follow to be sure). So, that is something you might check????
If I am right, I will take my prize in the form of CASH. Thank you!!!
Oh, good luck finding the answer. I know it drove us NUTS trying to figure this one out on mine!
