WTB- Factory XJ transfer case skid plate

Looking for a factory TC skidplate.  I have the 242 TC, and think any factory skid will work.  If someone knows differently post up here.

Any skid is ok as long as it is NOT bent, dented, etc...  Rusty is ok as long as it is not eaten up with it.  Pic would be appreciated.

Look on craigslist. Michigan Metro Det. or Flint & look for a listing of "Misc.Jeep Parts ( Flint)"
he has a skid plate for $25.00 listed. It may a stock one?????

I found a factory complete set, front, xfer case, tank with tow hooks at pic-a-part for 20 bucks. I believe there is another xj out there with another complete set. Hope you are well. Chuck.

Hey... there you are.  I haven't seen you on here for awhile.  Are you still working across the street from me?  I'm doing ok, how's things your way, ok I hope.

Which pic a part are you talking about?  I was at the one off of 16th street looking for a HP axle, and couldn't find ANY XJ's with ANY skids on them.  I know there was a few with skids last summer there, but they must have been picked clean, or totally scrapped.

Howdy, Still workin, thank God. Things are grim but we're still treadin' water. I went in search of a rad. this past week end to pic and pull a part. Found one that was junk still in the truck. They seemed to have scraped a lot of the XJ's from the summer. I got a full set for 20 bucks there and I know there was another. There was a flood damaged 98 or 99 from Johnson County Commish office with 70k on the clock. A guy was pulling the rear axle but every thing else looks good on the power train. I will start going alittle more often. I allways find some good bits there.
