It's always been at GAS AMERICA at 52 and 465. I belive it is the Brookville exit. GAS AMERICA is on the right side of 52. For those of you who have met up before this is the normal spot we always meet for the trip to Haspin.
We typically meet at 8:00AM, and try to be on the road by 8:20AM to make it to Haspin by 10:00AM.
Well, I got the Aussie installed, but after spending $100 on tools and $80 on a new axle hub assembly that I had not expected to be spending I will have to sit this one out. Take lots of pics so I will know what I missed.
I will still be going to JeepSkool the following week, though, as it's less than 90 minutes from home.
Greetings from Indy, well.....looks warmer and thats the good news..... Bad news is we are supposed to get a TON of rain Thurs and Fri last I checked. Haven't been to Haspin since my FJ40 days long ago, but am not afraid to get my latest toy muddy;) a 95XJ I just scored for as close to free as one can get! Hope to see you all there and the mud isn't as bad as I remember, but I assume it is, hehe. Ed
sounds good. look forward to meeting you. should be a good time. a little mud never killed anyone. well just have to get out to that area again where andy busted out that window, seemed a little more trail like and rockier out that way
ok guys so i was on google maps, cechng out haspin acres, well and it looks like a bast!! i would be new to haspin, and dont have a tow rig. so a buddy and i (whos also owns a yj) thought about just driving down to play, my question is. are there trails we can run, with out beating our jeeps to bad, so theres a bigger chance we can stll drive them home?

Several of the guys coming are brining thier daily drivers. If you wanna wheel hard more power to ya, but we don't pressure you to. I don't think by who's coming we're gonna wheel to awful hard this time out.
Also if you break we never leave anyone stranded, we'll figure out a way to get ya home or get your Jeep fixed to get you home.
I and the other XJ's that are coming with me are going to be driven there AND back. At Haspin the last 2 times that I went everything pritty much has the "drive around option" if you don't think you can do it without breaking.
Also with the past history of mud there and the rain that someone said we are supposed to get, should be pritty slow paced day pulling each other around.... haha.
