Water Pump Hell!	Permalink

Lower rad hose leaked from connection at water pump... redid it 3 times with new hose and clamp. I'm thinking its the water pump. How the **** do you remove the pulley? I tried a puller, heat, swearing, you name it. Stupid clutch fan likes to get in the way a lot also. Once I find a 'new style' electric fan out of another XJ, that pos is OUT. Thanks, matt <I'm sure you don't want to see snowball like that (see avatar). gnarly carpenter hammer... whack the center (actual part of old water pump) a couple times, and pry it with the nail puller. viola!/

...unfortunately this is shortly before I have to go to work... :(

reassembly started today...
wp and tstat/housing in, 'engine side' of hoses attached.
see snowball thread. I think the technical use of this thread has been utilized, and to keep this from becoming my jeep build thread version "the missing chapter" I'll rattle on and post pics over there.
