So I got all the screws out of the plastic trim on the floor, and cant seem to get it out. I think it catches on the catch for the tailgate...
Any ideas on removing that plastic piece? Thanks, matt p.s. I'm trying to do this. If you know of an easier way, let me know. I tried using a punch to remove the weldnuts from the bottom, and it's not happening!

If the solution that you found was to put your hand up through the hole on the botom of the jeep then I won't explain it again. If it was not post back here and I will re-explain it. Maybe I will make a new thread with this info in it for everyone...

I miss the days that they made toys that could kill a kid.
I didn't get to it yet but it looks MUCH easier in both terms of labor and seeing rotted floors than pulling the carpet.
I got a fishwire with my trailer hitch... that should make pulling the bolts in easier. I'm going to fish the bolts in through the top, then secure the shock with a nut on the bottom. It should work the same way... I don't see why it wouldn't.
I'll take pics and stuff to help out with the 'how to' thread.
