Rear quarter window glass?

I have a couple, good size, rust spots I'd like to take care off. They are located under the rear quarter glass. How do you remove the glass? I tryed to do this last summer but the window would not just simply push inward, as instructed on other sites. Any ideas other than a hammer, I need to be able to reinstall it after I fix the rust.

Wondering if you could find new seals if you could just cut the old ones out and then put it on.  Or you could go to a junk yard and try it on some of the windows there first until you can do it right...

Can't believe I didn't think of that. I just walk around them for fun, guess I have something to do now.
