alright fellas.... i don't want to do this, but wife says too many other projects need to take precedence over this.... SOOOOO.....

i'm selling my 1987 Cherokee Pioneer 4.0 4x4.  225,000 miles.  i know the previous owner and he owned it for a lonnng time and put a ton of miles on it. a lot of them came from driving back and forth from Illinois and Arizona.  and i will also say that he is very meticulous with his vehicles, so i know it's been well maintained.

the vehicle has been parked for about the last 5 years.  he moved to Decatur, IN and brought this with him, then he had 4 kids and the jeep became a driveway ornament. when he parked it, it ran fine, tranny was fine, trans case fine, etc... everything ran.  the biggest reason he initially parked it was because the gas tank developed a leak and he never had time to replace it.

SO... the only things i know this will need (other than the obvious changing of the fluids), is a new battery and a gas tank.

i had planned on making this a trail only rig, therefore, i had started ripping out all the interior carpets and plastic trim panels and headliner.  most all the back area is taken out already.

i would realllllly like to keep the wheels that are on it now.   so here's the deal... $500 for the rig with the wheels..... or if you bring your own set of wheels to swap onto it... then you can have the rig for $400.  CASH ONLY! and the prices are set in stone and will not come down.  take it or leave it.

ALSO, there is NO TITLE with this. so if you bought it, you'd be making it a trail rig, just as i had planned....

Why no title if you know the guy that owned it? Just asking not interested.  Did he loose it or something?  You can have him file for a lost title.

well he's honestly not sure what happened to the title. he thinks it might have gotten lost when they moved here from Illinois. i work with the guy, so i may have to just ask him. i really wasn't worried about it cuz i thought i was going to keep it and just trail rig it.... didn't need a title.... but now i may want it... lol

Where are you located? Are you sure it is drivable with just the repairs mentioned? Title pending I may be interested.

i'm pretty sure with everything changed/fixed/replaced that i mentioned that it would be good to go. it was running perfectly the moment it was parked a few years ago. it's sat as is since then.

Dan .. how about some more pics ? What is the deal on the title, or isn't the old owner interested in it since he doesn't own it any more ? I would be interested, especially if the title were available, and I could see more of the condition of the vehicle. I'd more than be willing to drive out to check it out. I'll PM you.
