1995 jeep

I would to know if can remove my left and right axle with the u-joint assmenbly. and replace it with new cv-joint assy axle. please help. in desspret need of help. and if it can be done what else will I need to know before I do the job. Thank for your help out there in jeep land.

Why would you want to? The CV-style joints/shafts are week and known for issues...

Snap ring pliers are handy... it took me a while to work out the worn front axle u-joints, they get rusted in there. It's a good idea to have alternate transportation, a supply of PB plaster/coca cola/aggressive penetrating lube (not wd40, too mild), a big hammer, and a propane torch.

I recommend either OEM (Dana Spicer) U-joints or Napa u-joints. Get the greaseable ones. "Heavy Duty" ones are not serviceable so if they get water in the bearings the end is near for them. Greaseable ones you can pump fresh gease in and push the old crud/dirt/water out.

I lost my ABS tone rings, but that's a non issue in my book.
