comanche frame question

im looking at premade xj cherokee main frame stiffeners for my comanche. i have bad spots on my frame and i thought maybe these would make an easy way to fix/ reinforce the frame.  my question is how far back are they the same? has any one done this?

They are not the same at all. The MJ has extra reinforcements and the XJ frame stiffner's will not fit unless you modify them greatly. Honestly you'll be cutting the snot out of them for them to work on the MJ. I think your best bet is to try to make your own using peices of metal.

PM me... a guy in the pipe shop is part owner of a fab shop. They build up Jeeps and all kinds of 'fun stuff'. I'll have to head over there sometime and check out the place.
