Curious you guys that have roof racks on your XJ's how dod you mout your Hi-lift and spare tire on them.

I'm using rachet straps for the tire, and "U" bolts for the hi-lift. Works ok thus far.

I have my shovel mounted with ubolts, think im gonna fab some jack mounts since my Surco is aluminum. I see you have an axe on yours as well, LOL was thinking of that .I hate to copy someone else though ,although hard to be original building a jeep.

Yeah I have an AX. I used it quite a bit down in Mississippi doing Hurricane Relief after Katrina with my SAR group. Worked well knocking down doors. I also have it held on with "U" bolts.
