I would also make sure your butterfly in the TB is closing properly (seating closed at idle). And as mentioned before, double check your thortle cable.
Did you check for any vacume leaks? Are all hoses where they are susposed to be?
Thier really are only 4 reasons why it would idel high.
1) Sticking throtle linkage. 2) TB butterfly open excesivly at idle. 3) Idel speed adjusted incorrectly. 4) Vacume leak.
Like I told ya before, I'll be in Indy this weekend, maybe I can stop by and we can take a look at it for ya.
well i just put in a new TPS and still same chit ...im waiting till 3 for the IAC its comming up from the southside...so sa far 150 bux wasted and they wount take back installed sensors...i know the TPS has to be adjusted but hell i cant understand that dam adjustment chart and i moved the thing up and down on level settings 100 times....im telling ya bro this is really getting on my nerves i cant even drive it right now....

Use a high-impedance voltmeter. Connect the positive probe to the center terminal and the negative probe to the ground terminal (black wire). You MUST leave teh TPS connected to acuratly get a reading.
With the inginition ON, slowly move the throttle leval until it is wide open and observe the reading. With the throttle fully closed is should read greater than 200millivolts. With the throtle fully open, it should be a little less than 4.8 volts. If the voltage readings are incorrect than the TPS is bad.
When you get the IAC get that installed, see if it cures the problem. Make sure you adjust it correctly. If not, and the TPS readings are correct than it's either A) Throtle linkage sticking or B) Vacume leak.
Don't go throwing $$ at it untill your sure exactly what it is. It will just make you more frustraded at the situation.
nope never a check engine light so they could not pull codes but its fixed ......i bought both TPS IAC ended up bieng IAC so i wasted 100 bux on the TPS but o well its new now wont have a problem with it for awhile so to total it all up ...155 bux total ...and one part i really didnt need at the moment ..but at least it wont leave me stranded and now i got a spare hundred dollar part
