Is anyone running an Optima? If so, which one? My battery is the original from 2001. I am sure it's on it's last leg.

I am running a 400 watt RMS amp right now. I will be adding six 55 watt lights in the upcoming weeks. I want to be sure my battery can handle it.

Are the Optimas worth the money? I have always run Interstate in the past and haven't had any problems ever.

I'm running a Red-Top. I use them in most of my vehicals and love them. I highly recomend them.

I've had both Yellow & Red.....Its the battery to have if your going to wheel.

I have Deka's (NAPA) version  of the yellow top awesome battery.

been running a red top in my XJ for a few years, and have run it dead a few times.  also used it for a ton of winching.  no problems with it.
