Anyone have any idea's of what caused this? Burnt from the inside out. Only thing left inside is the metal plate and the toasted spring...

what is it?  looks kinda like the vaccum disconnect but not really.

Hard to tell from the pic , but looks like a vacuum check valve maybe for the  EGR valve. Not sure though have seen the EGR go bad and allow hot exhaust in it melting it. But not sure thats what it even is. A bit more info would be helpfull.

It's the EGR valve vacuum transducer. New one? HA! I'll plug it, they are expensive.

Just not sure why it's burnt (inside out).
