I like to use 8 but I am not sure if in that case it will make a differance. I think you should be fine. I think you only need 8 for like hitches and motor mounts thing like that.

Do you have a name brand kit. When I had my Skyjacker one it came with 8

I'm going with Black diamond 3in system................the bolts will should work ...............make sure that you get your drive shaft angles are right ,you may need shims. __________________ C.
