D/W

Ok  so  here shortly im going to the shop ...but last night i had another run in with my DW  this time at a lower speed ...so this cabby was pissin me off tail gateing me last night  then on my return trip i some how managed to get behid the same cabby ...so im tail gateing him now and he decides to haul bawls so i persue ..as im speeding up i hit a bump  now at this moment im acceling from about 40 going up to 45 ..as soon as i hit the bump wammo   bring on the D/W so i hit the breaks and it actually goes away after about loosing 5MPH  so sounds like a classic case of DW right ?? and im still torn right now ..see im still at stock hieght  but rolling 31's now  and have never had them balanced ??? should this be my first step ..as i have never had this problem  with the smaller tires i will now end my St Pattys crappy evening story

ok so i got under her this morning and found nothing to visiable ...but i did how ever notice on the trac bar   where it mounts to axle..looks like it has some slop in it ..but not having a good reference point its hard to tell if that is normal slop or excessive..so adam if you read this ..oh wait  you got DW to ..ok well anyone that could get me a pic possibly  of a trac bar  on axle  mount  in good condition  so i could see what it should look like  id greatly appreciate it ..and the shops where all booked to day so no tire balanceing going on either ...some of them even close at noon ???  blasphemy

Here is mine at the axle. It shouldn't have any play in it. I highlighted the area in case it's confusing.

Going to larger tires can sometimes bring up issues that may not have been apparent before. You'll also want to check your shock bolts, tie rod parts, steering stabilizer etc. Basically anything in the front that is wearable.

There should be that gap. Are you able to tighten it any more? the bushing will aloow it to move so crank that sucker down

That the PB Blaster to it and maybe a lil heat but too much will cause that bushing to melt some and then it will be even harder to remove

OK WELL  i PBd the hell out of it ..didnt want to toy with the torch tho ..stil couldnt get it to budge so i guess its tight ...lol...and against all my better judgement i went and bawt a new stabilizer....30 bux... noticed a very small difference ...but i know thats not gonna fix my problem  but wanted  to anyways  was going to change it evenditally....so kept checking other stuff it all seems good ...but decided to do something ..broke out the tape measure and measured the space between the tires ...front and back ....my front is way off from my rear ..fronts was like 49 1/2   and rear  was like 50 something like 53 1/2 i think ...squatted down and just stared at front end ..my drivers side tire is kicked out at the bottom   in at the top...left side looks fine ...i was sitting on flat spot to  level ..so maybe ive found my problem? now that i think about it ..i noticed it a little with the other tires ..and would just think it was my eyes messing with me ..hell maybe it still is ????

Well thats alot to be off. You can adjust that by lil shims behind you LCA's.  Your caster is off bad onside that the other and I have known that to cause some DW and if you can get the caster at about 6 to about 8 degrees it helps to get rid of DW.  So maybe check behind your LCa's to see if you have the same amount of shims and go from there. Your rear end could be of if you center pin moved some how. Yo might what to just start taking her apart and maybe that could help find your problems.

GET IT ALIGNED AND GET YOUR TIRES BALANCED!

Your not gonna fix it untill you do those 2 things. You could do as much as you wanted with everything else, but untill you do those 2 things your NOT gonna fix your DW.
