How to measure Bump stops?

Ok I just got my new toys in the mail and I have no Idea how to measure them to see how many plates I need. I have the DPG offroad ones. I know how to istall them but I dont want to put them and have them be too small

Any help would be awesome

I would say the only way to test would be to flex out your rig all the way, then measurethe distance between the frame/stock bumpstop and axle/bracket. Add a little to this and you should have your measurement.

Of course, afterwards you have to go wheeling to "check your measurements".

I thought they were supposed to be easy to adjust the bumpstop length with this kind?

Well the plates are just bolted on to the leaf spring plate so yeah it would be. I just dont feel like taking it all apart to add or take off you know

the only way to get it right is to flex it out see where you want the uptravel to stop, then measure.

adding and removing additional plates is only 2 bolts....it's simple to add and remove them on the vehicle
