I got the spicers online today for less than they wanted for the "Heavy Duty" one's at Napa. With shipping it was about the same price. Figured I'd go with what I trusted than someone I didn't know about.

They ordered you guys the  cheaper u-joints, not the federal-mogul precision joints.  I guess I should have just ordered them for you and sent them to you. When you tell someone you wabt precision 280 you get it for them, not change it over to the cheaper u-joint. Thats the kind of stuff that irritates me.

I'm not worried.  I have never had any problems with anything I've bought from NAPA.


Besides, my experience in industry has shown me that just because X's name is on it, DOES NOT mean X manufactured it.  I have seen this in bearings, gear reducers, sprockets, gears, etc...  Can you say Globalism?

well , I just found out there is a shop in muncie that carries spicer joints in stock for $15.00 bucks. dad bought the three that fit ours and he is ordering more!
