t/case drop any good....

i've been reading on other forums that t/case 1 inch drop kit is no good for the long haul, just a temp fix until you get a SYE...................................not even the basic 3 inch black diamond, rancho ,skyjacker .those a best only have 3 inches of lift, not to include your RE or rusty's that give 4 inches or more..............i'am going with black diamond system [not aal]................why a t/case 1 inch drop, with the right shims will not work as a permanent fix.............i need hard facts.........................THank you

I've been running a 1" TC drop with 5" of lift for well over a year. Yes I'll go SYE and CV soon when I got bigger.

A TC drop is a temp fix, as it dosn't eliminate the problem of the yoke coming out further. But you'll be ok.

what degree shim did you use.............i've read that with 6-7* shim your gears will not lube  correctly with that much angle on the pinoin.............

i have a 1" drop and wheel my jeep often and beat the crap outta it (ask some of the guys on here) and haven't had problems.  its not the best but it does work.  its the cheapo way out and has the possiblity of failing on you but it does work and works differently for everyone.  no one can say it will fix all your vibs or if it will gernade your t-case.  its very unlikly it will gernade the t-case but it is possible.  but then again its possible the world will end tomorow so take it with a grain of salt.  i'd say go for the sye, it won't hurt anythign enough to worry about.

I love my BDS got exactly 3" front and 3.75" in the rear. Running BDS shocks my lift had a full length AAL somewhere around 350 bucks. The Black Diamond lift is a good buy its made by Superlift and if i remember correctly comes with new LCA's.

i guess i never really understood the reasoning behind lifting your vehicle for better ground clearance, just to drop the crossmember lower?  i have worked very hard to keep the belly clearance on my XJ as high and as smooth as possible....

you lift to put on larger tires and the look is awsome, the tires alone give enough hieght between axle and ground to get to fishing hole............a rough trail or two..............nothing to hard on the trail....................the lift is to get clearance for larger tires................belly clearance is for hardcore climbers...........just want to be softcore
