Detours Slim Line Bumper ?

Looks like I will be sending some business to one of our sponsers in the day or so.
I've looked around, and I like his fit, and the rear rocker protection.
Has anyone tryed one of Detours bumpers?
I like the smoothie because it wil match my body, sliders, and front bumper. He tells me the diamondplate it more stout.
So, that made me question my first choice.
Looks are important to me as my Jeep is part of my small business presentation.
So I'll throw it out to my fellow XJers.
Opinions?
Diamondplate or smooth?

i like diamound plate personally.  i think it looks better.  no other reason.  as for paint chipping i think there won't be a difference between the 2.

that's a tough one really.... i'd go for matching what's already on your rig. one thing though, i think in theory, the diamond plate would actually keep more paint on if something scratches or bumps against it, because of all the raised diamonds... less exposed immediate surface area.... depends to on the size of the object scratching it. eh, just my 2 cents....

Well swiss you have created a real problem, diamond or smooth. I think you should get the smooth and put it on your daily rig, them get a diamond one a find a trail rig to slap it on! kidding aside, I am alos looking into thier bumpers and sliders, I think i will go smooth, cleaner look for me!
