Well I got the roof rack and lights all back on and working. Only 3 of the lights work, but I think that only the same 3 worked when it was on my XJ, so I don't think it is my expert wiring job.... haha ya right.
I have an electrical handicap. It only took my 3 days to get these all wired up and running how I want them....
Tomorrow the steering and trac bar. Wish me luck.

Well got some more done on the XJ today. Got the steering on. Did not get the trac bar on. Had some problems getting the bottom bolt out, will have to drill it probably and didn't have the time.
Also Nick got back to my buddy about the rims. We will not be getting the rims that were shown earlier. He ordered some different ones, really not sure what they look like, but hopefully we will be getting them in by the end of the week and get them on the XJ by the weekend.

Did you try heating it and taking a candle to it? That works sometimes. My grandpa used a rag soaked in coke and he'd set it on top of a stuck bolt overnight, and that worked once, um.... wd-40 it for a week and try again (that would slow progress a bit though).

I was going to update this today. So, Nick got back to Indiana yesterday. I had to work so I could not go see him when he got off the plane. He is not able to come back home yet, he has 4-5 days of debriefing to do in camp Atterbury. So they are think that they will be able to come home on Mon., Tues, Wed. sometime. So it is only a few short days away.
We don't have the tires on yet. There was some difficulties ordering the rims, but they did get ordered. I think that they should have come in today or monday. We have the steering on, stabalizer off, and will have to cut the trac bar off. In all of Jeep's ingenious designing, the bottom bolt that holds the trac bar on has a head on it that is only about half as tall(or thick, however you want to word it) as a normal bolt. So when you put a wrench on it, there is not enough there to hold it on. So we will have to cut it off, and take forever instead of just taking the bolt out like you would think.
I wanted to be able to drive this to pick Nick up, but that is not going to happen I don't think. I hate to do it, but Nick is going to have to do some of the work on this, cause it is not going to be done...
He is in Indiana and safe now, and that is the important stuff. If someone would still like to purchase something, the old Steering stabalizer will not go back on. I spent about 1.5 trying to get it back on and it won't. It has 300,000 miles on it almost so it is probably not doing anything anyways. But if someone would like to donate late, one of those is only like $30 I think. Let me know.
Thank you everyone for your support and help with this build. I will post up picks as we get it done.

Have taken the tires on and off about 10 times in the last month and a half and of course today when we take them off to put the new rims and tires on we bust the VERY FIRST stud right off.... Got them on though and they look sweet!! We took some pictures, but Nick has them. I will see if I can get them posted up tomorrow.
We have been insullating the garage, basically just siding holding the walls together... Last year I was getting snowed on with all the doors and windows shut, lol. So insullation has been the top priority then we are going to tear into XJ, Mustang, XR4Ti, Scorpio.... And the list goes on and on, haha.
