Look fine to me. Do the tires rub both fender flares, and if so how much do they rub flexed? If alot you my have to do some trimming/ bumpstoping and a little trimming.

They are correctly installed. If you have a SuperRide kit you'll have rubber bushings on both ends. If it's a SuperFlex kit you'll have a Flex Joint on the one end. The Flex Joint goes on the axle side. The bushing to the control arm is offset on one end (the axle end) to allow clearance for the coil bucket. Your photo's show it installed correctly.
A 31x10.5" tire with the RE control arms WILL rub on a set of stock rims at full lock. You have 1 of 2 options. You can either go with an aftermarket set of rims with a different offset, or shim the steering stops as mentioned.
with no flex they rub a little on the inside of the flare... I was thinking of getting a cutoff wheel and going at the little bit where it rubs. If it rubs while flexing, then I'll shim. I haven't flexed it out yet though.

I installed a 2 inch spring spacer to level out my vehicle on both ends. That cured my rubbing on the street and for the most part on the trail. I still rub on (a hard tire stuff) on the trail so I found out that it was the front flare lower piece towards the rear. Its where the flare comes down and then turns 90 degrees in for about 2 inches and stops inside the wheel well. Mine was wavy and the wave was catching on the tread blocks. I used my heat gun to gently soften the plastic and then pushed it towards the body so now instead of it being verticle, it tips back slightly. I also did this in a few other places where the flare had warped and was catching on the tire. I can post picts if this is confusing to anyone. Basically just find the spots where you're rubbing and do the above steps.

He's rubbing on the LCA. You can have 6" of lift and still rub on the LCA with his setup. Lift has nothing to do with rubbing on the LCA. It has to do with the tire size and the offset of the rims he's running. A 31x10.5 tire on STOCK rims will rub at full lock with a set of aftermarket LCA's (unless they are the WJ style with the bend in them for clearance). 95% of aftermarket rims have a different offset than factory; thus why yours do not rub.
no where in this thread does it say he is rubbing on his control arm. It does say however that he is thinking about trimming his flares with a cut off wheel which is why I suggested the plastic heating method.

Haha your right. I thought for sure he had said that he was rubbing on the LCA. I even went to his Member page were he was complaining about the rubbing as well. Nothing but the fenders... Oh well I guess you hear what you want.

I miss the days that they made toys that could kill a kid.
The initial post does not specify where the rubbing takes place. I guess i just assumed. Oh well, Lead's post about adjusting the steering stops is still useful...maybe a tag should be made.

Dunno I guess. I just figured since the TOPIC of this post was about LCA's he was talking about LCA's; not to mention all 3 pics were of LCA's, not fenders/flares.
Guess you never know unless someone is specific about things...

I see nothing about the control arm in this sentence. In fact I see the only thing he says is that it is rubbing on the flare. That sounds crystal clear to me...regardless of what the title of the subject says. I figured that Chevelle would have chined in by now and explaned it all to us. IMHO adjusting the steering stops to get rid of some small rubbing on the flare makes no sence. Especially since his front axle is rusty and the stops would probably break off or disintergrate trying to adjust them. Personally the ONLY reason I remolded mine vs trimming was to help keep dirt/mud/gunk out of my fenderwells. There is nothing worse than working on say the front end and having all the dirt ect fall either on your head or onto your parts. Plus the plastic washes off easier than the rough surface of the metal and when rocks hit plastic it doesn't make it rust.
This quote from Chevelle's first post, "Are theseinstalled the right way? I still get some tire rub off the BFG 31x10.50s". It was just listed as "tire rub". No LCA mentioned(other than in title). No Flare Mentioned.
