Kumho Venture MT vs. Dunlop Mud Rover

Bumpstop question

I've made a set of front bumpstops out of hockey pucks. Three per side. The question I have is this;
I drilled a hole thru them, and plan to use a 4"- 3/8-16 bolt to mount them with. I had no way to counterbore the top to recess the bolt head. Will the bolt head cause any problems...
