V8 Swap info?
(Preview)
Anyone have any interest /thoughts of a V8 powertrain in a XJ/MJ. I've heard of a few companies (Adv.Adapt.) offering part (mounts), but the trail of info ends there. I seen pics, and such, but no real concise info/ roadblocks, or even build ups etc.. i guess it is a alternate to a stroker build up, bu...

Seat Covers
(Preview)
I'd like to get a set of seat covers for the MJ since we run it doorless. I'm looking for CHEAP. I just want something that can easily be wiped off, and if they get wet it won't hurt them. Anyone found anything from a chain store that fit well over the older style buckets and are cheap?

Finally got around to mounting up the HiLift
(Preview)
I finally found the time to fab up a mounting system for the HiLift jack I won here in a giveaway. I looked at Tomken's mount, and decided I just couldn't see spending $162 for a mount. Plus it had a gerrycan mount, and I didn't want that since it moved the spare tire too far away from the rear hatch, and the...

650 CCA Battery in XJ
(Preview)
So... I got a 1988 Camry for a crappy boring DD/rust magnet/econobeater so my nice Jeep can play when the snow's really bad :) and camping and stuff. The camry came with a brand new 650cca ac delco battery, which is a lot better than a 2 1/2 year old 540cca exide. Well, the 650 is too big for the stock battery...

Tomken 8" longarm MJ lift

I went back to Tomken's site and couldn't find the lift kit listed anywhere. They do show an MJ with it in their picture gallery though. Maybe it's just an XJ longarm kit....

The Jeep started stalling yesterday. It only happens when the rpm's are up and then I push in the clutch. Instead of it going down to idle, it just stalls. I thought that it was a vacume leak or something so I looked and listened for one and didn't find one. It doesn't do it at idle like if you were sittin...
